This model has two integrating units and is suitable for the determination of Area, 
Static Moment and Centre of Gravity of plane figures and the Volume of solids of revolu 
tion : it is thus applicable to many of the requirements of Naval Architecture. 
One fixed tracer arm, 8 in. or 20 cms. in length, is incorporated and a rail 3 ft. (91 cms.) 
long is supplied as standard : longer rails can be supplied if required but must be 
specified when ordering the integrator. 
RANGE 
The approximate maximum size of figure (bisected by the axis of moments) which can 
be traced at one setting, using the standard (3 ft.) rail, is a rectangle:— 
22 in. (or 55 cm.) X 12-25 in. (or 30-5 cm.). 
The minimum table space required to permit this maximum range being used is:— 
40 in. (102 cm.) X 20 in. (51 cm.). 
this includes the space needed for the overhang of the counterpoise weight of the 
instrument. 
A grooved and battened Drawing Board of suitable size (i.e. Double Elephant) can be 
supplied to order.
