CANADIAN VERNIER THEODOLITE 
This 5-inch theodolite has been designed to meet the requirements 
of the Canadian market for a high grade robust instrument of simple 
construction. 
In order to facilitate reading in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, 
circles and verniers are figured to read in both directions. 
SPECIFICATION AND DIMENSIONS IN ENGLISH AND 
METRIC 
TELESCOPE—I nverting, transits both ends. 
Internal focussing-focusses down to 6 ft. 6 in., (1-98 metres) and 
fitted with sights for preliminary alignment. 
SPIRIT LEVELS—2 bubbles on horizontal plate, sensitivity— T V inch=40 
seconds. 
Bubble on telescope, sensitivity—^ inch^30 seconds. 
COMPASS—Circular compass fitted as integral part of upper plate and 
fitted with deviating scale and vernier. 
LEVELLING SYSTEM—4-screw levelling and Canadian thread attach 
ment to stand 3-5 inch x 8 T.P.I. 
STAND—Sliding stand, Canadian type A604. 
ACCESSORIES—Plummet, Spare diaphragm, Rayshade, Screwdriver, 
Tommy pins, Sunhead, Brush.
