My dear and hououred Friend

            I am full of regret
that I cannot have the pleasure
of hearing your Sinfonia tomorrow-
but my leg continues so painful
and weak, that my Seugeon
forbids me to use it any more
than is absolutely neccessary to move
about the house.
 I must nurse myself for "Sessonda",
which, even if I am carried to the
Theater, I must hear.
