1782      Rounds per Men. Il [It] is the Desire of His Excell.

Dec. 9t   Lieut. General Campbell that when any Officier of the

              Corps under Major General de Hachenbergs Command,

              wishes to go to Newyork he is to be furnished with a

              Line from Major General de Hachenberg with a Line

              signifying his Approbation.

d. 10t     Lieut. General Campbell considering thal [that] his ordres re=

              garding Leave for Officers to go to Newyork or elsewhere

              may be attendet with some inconvenience la the Gentle-

              men.

                 The General thinks proper there fore to leave it

              hence forth to the commendeng [commanding] Officer of Corps to

              grant such permission, to such Officers as ask their

              Leave to Newyork or elsewhere oc cusionally, without

              any forther application on Leawe whatever.
