      May dear Sire:
                          There hav been so many re-
quests for eopies of the addresses delivered at
the Lowell Coumemotation that thecommittee
has decided to publish them as a memorial of
the occasion. There are especially auxious to
have your address, which pleased the audience
very grealty, and for which there is great demand
though it was not written out, you will doubt.
